Brief Description: This home and guest cabin are located on a very private hillside overlooking the Trail Creek drainage between Bozeman and the Paradise Valley. There are 240 acres to explore, with two ponds that help to attract the plentiful wildlife in the area.
Bedrooms and baths: The main house has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master suite is very luxurious with a king size bed, seating area with cozy couches, large screen television, and a woodstove in the corner for added warmth and atmosphere. There is a large private bathroom for the master suite, with a wonderful Japanese style soaking tub. The second bedroom in the main house has a double bed, and a private bathroom as well.
Living room and dining area: The spacious living area is all very open between the living room, dining area, and kitchen. It's a great space for gatherings! There is plenty of seating with multiple sofas and chairs comfortably arranged. The dining area table seats six comfortably, and overflow seating is available at the kitchen island counter adjacent to the dining area.
Kitchen: This is a huge, gourmet kitchen, sure to please any chef! The kitchen has top of the line appliances, and all the extras. All the cookware and serving ware you will need is provided, even a spice cabinet!
Guest cabin: The guest cabin will allow up to four more guests to enjoy this incredible retreat. The cabin is just a short walk from the main house, and has a great view of one of the property's ponds. The cabin has its own living room with woodstove, a small but complete kitchen, full bathroom, small dining area, and a sleeping loft set up with two double beds. The loft is accessed by a drop-down ladder, so is not appropriate for small children. The beds are somewhat separated with a partial wall between the two beds, for a little privacy.
Outdoor Amenities: The home has a great patio area with a hot tub for evening star gazing -- make sure to go out on a clear night and have a look during your stay! There is a gas grill, and outdoor seating available for those outdoor meals.
Activities nearby: Besides hiking and mountain biking right out your front door, there is fishing, horseback riding, golf, skiing, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and more! The towns of Livingston, Gardiner and Bozeman have an amazing array of shops and restaurants as well.
Closest town and airport: It's about 20 miles to Livingston and the Paradise Valley, 18 miles to Bozeman and 25 miles to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Yellowstone National Park is just over an hour away.
