Brief Description: This lovely home and guest cottage sit on a bench above the Yellowstone River, offering beautiful 360 degree views of the Paradise Valley and surrounding mountain peaks. With a free standing gas fireplace and comfy furnishings it has
a wonderful cozy and natural feel.
Bedrooms and baths: The master suite in the loft has king size bed, and a flat screen TV with DVD player and satellite service. The attached master bath has a beautiful marble-tiled steam shower and a two-sink vanity. The second bedroom is on the main
level and has a queen size bed, and views of the mountains through a set of double doors that lead to the patio and yard. This bedroom also has a private bath with a door out to a private patio. The guest studio is another wonderful space with a queen size
bed, efficiency kitchen and a small sitting area.
Kitchen: The spacious gourmet kitchen is open to the dining area and living room. It has marble countertops, a gas stove, side by side refrigerator, a large island, and everything else you’ll need to feel right at home. There is a laundry room with washer
and dryer off the kitchen. On the back deck you’ll find a large gas grill for summer barbecues.
Dining area: The dining table will seat six comfortably
Living room: The living area is the centerpiece of the home with large windows bringing in lots of light and affording views of the nearby Absaroka Mountains. There are two leather sofas, a TV and a gas “woodstove”, making it a cozy area to hang out
after a day’s adventures.
Setting, acreage, and views: The home sits on three and a half acres on a bench above the Yellowstone River, a few miles north of Chico Hot Springs and Emigrant. The views of the surrounding valley and mountains are spectacular and you have just a short
walk down the hill to the Yellowstone River.
Outdoor Amenities: There are patios and porches all around the house, a naturally landscaped yard, a barbecue grill and picnic table. And if you’re bringing your pooch, you even have a dog kennel. This is a wonderful yard for hanging out!
Activities nearby: Besides hiking and mountain biking on nearby trails, there is fishing just a half mile away, horseback riding, golf, skiing, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the towns of Livingston, Gardiner and Bozeman have
to offer. Chico Hot Springs, with a great restaurant and saloon, and a large mineral pool for soaking is just ten minutes away. Winter visitors can enjoy cross country skiing in the Absaroka Mountains, or go exploring the winter wonders of Yellowstone Park.
Closest town and airport: It's about 20 miles to Livingston, 45 miles to Bozeman and 55 miles to Bozeman's Gallatin Field airport. Yellowstone Park is about a 40 minute drive up the beautiful Paradise Valley.
