Brief Description: The Brundage is a little piece of heaven. On a beautifully managed ranch in the heart of one of Montana’s most pristine valleys, the cabins take you back in time in total comfort. The Centennial Valley is what Montana was like 100
years ago, large ranches, few fences, and teeming with wildlife. The Brundage is a retreat suited for as few as one or two, or up to fourteen. Overlooking the banks of the Red Rock River, you’ll enjoy watching waterfowl, birds of prey, pronghorn, coyotes,
and even Trumpeter Swans right from the front porch. The Commons Cabin has a washer and dryer. There’s no landline phone, but cell service is pretty good and the ranch offers a loaner cell phone if needed. There is Internet service two miles away at ranch
headquarters, but we recommend forgetting about the rest of the world while you’re here. You’ll also find a hot tub at ranch headquarters for your use.
Bedrooms and baths: The Commons Cabin has one bedroom with a king size bed, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room and one full bath. The North Cabin has two bedrooms, each with one king size bed. One of the bedrooms also has a queen sleeper sofa. This
cabin has one full bath. The Small Cabin has one bedroom with a king size bed and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. This cabin has a half bath and an outdoor shower. Note: All king size beds can be re-made into two twins.
Kitchen:The Commons Cabin has a full kitchen with a dishwasher and microwave. The other two cabins are set-up so you can make your morning tea and coffee.
Dining area:There’s a dining table for six in the Commons Cabin and another big table for six on the covered patio.
Living room: The Commons Cabin has a comfy living room with leather couches and a gas burning “wood stove” to gather around on chilly evenings. There’s a collection of books, a 30” TV with DVD player, VCR, and a good selection of movies. There’s a small
stereo system with radio/ CD player. The other cabins have sitting areas with full size sofas and overstuffed chair, gas fireplaces in each of the bedrooms, and each cabin has a small CD player/radio.
Setting, acreage, and views: On a 10,000 acre working cattle ranch in the middle of the gorgeous Centennial Valley, with incredible views of the Centennial Mountains, Lima Peaks, and the Madison, Gravelly and Snowcrest Mountain Ranges bordering the ranch.
Guests are welcome and encouraged to explore the whole ranch, either on their own or with the friendly ranch staff.
Outdoor Amenities: You’ll find a big picnic table and a fire pit in the immediate yard, the meandering Red Rock River is just steps out your door, and you have the whole ranch and valley to explore. There are bikes, inner tubes and backpacks for your
adventures.
Activities nearby: Fishing, world-class bird watching on the ranch and at Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge, hiking, mountain biking, and simply relaxing. There’s fishing on the Beaverhead, Big Hole, Madison and Ruby Rivers, as well as Elk and
Hidden Lake. You can add on a la carte working ranch activities such as horseback riding, seasonal cattle drives, and fixing fence. Red Rock Lakes is considered by many to be the most beautiful refuge in the country.
Closest town and airport: It’s 110 miles to Idaho Falls, the closest airport, and 85 miles(1.5hr) to Dillon. Yellowstone Park is within a hours drive.
